Installation of Oracle Clinical DB server/Binaries software.
Login as
opapps user go to the location where you have uzipped the software.
Now run
The runinstaller.
Launch
the GUI interface
Welcome
screen click on next.
Step1:
Step2:
Select
OC Server for UNIX 5.1.0.0.2.0 click on next
Step3:
In path
specify the your installed Oracle home path using browse option.
Automatically
name changes
Then
click on next button.
Step4:
Choose
OPA Home directory
In our
case OPA Home is “/home/opapps”
Step5:
Choose
owner of oracle clinical server node by default opapps click on next
Step6:
Locate
the oratab file
Oratab
file located in /etc by using browse option select /etc
Then
click on next button.
Step7:
Locate
the tnsname file in the installed DB12C
By using
browse option select the file
Step8:
Choose
RXC_USER and its directrory for sas installation
I have
created a directory in the OPA_HOME(nothing but
location /home/opapps) with name
as sas_view
By using browse button select the directory
Step9:
Wallet
configuration select “YES” because it a fresh installation
If it is
upgrading select NO.
Click on next
Step 10:
Select
the location where you want to store the wallet.
I have
created a directory with name as wallet in the location(/home/opapps/wallet)
Select
the directory by using browse button
Click on
next
Step11:
Provide
wallet password mine is
Wallet
password “xxxxxxxx”
Click on
next
Step12:
By
default OC server installed under home location of opapps with OC directory
under 51 dirctroy
Click on
next button.
Step13:
Summary
will be provided click on next button
Step14:
Installation
starts and reach to 100%
Step15:
Check
the installation log once for any errors
Relink
must be completed withour error
Make a Note of the paths:
OPA_HOME=/home/opapps
Opa_bin=/home/opapps/bin
Code environment=51
That’s
end the installation of ORACLE CLINICAL SERVER.
